Alysia English is an experienced strategic marketing,planning and communications executive with successful national and international experience in diverse industries such as health care, government affairs, non-profit, entrepreneurial/high growth, counterterrorism, and publicly traded entities. She provides strategic thinking with proven ability to deal with complex issues under tight deadlines.

English served as director of strategic planning, marketing and public relations for a large health care system including a hospital, a 125-physician multigroup practice, ER, surgery center plus centers for cancer, OB, sports medicine, and a non-profit Foundation. English served for 10 years as a lobbyistand media consultant. She coordinated legislation with the Georgia General Assembly including end-of-life, security, veterans’ affairs, and environmental issues. She was the primary author with terrorism and funeral professionals of the National Mass Fatality Response Plan coordinating first responders, health care, law enforcement and state and local governments. She was also the primary author, with the president of NFDA, of the National Ebola Response Plan, working with Emory University Hospital, Public Health, funeral directors, and first responder agencies across the country.

English served as director of public relations for a major long-distance company, working directly with Wall Street and national media relating to technology, finance, and communications issues. She served as director of business development and international media liaison for an international security and counterterrorism consulting firm, working with clients throughout the world including law enforcement, FBI, US icons, state governments, light and heavy rail, bus, aviation, trucking and municipal clients. She placed over 200 national and international media stories including CNN, CNN International, FOX, CBS, ABC, USA Today, local,and regional media.

English speaks frequently on media relations, strategic planning, and strategic communications.

She and her husband David live in the north Georgia mountains, and are avid sailors, travelers, and wine enthusiasts.
